I’m very thankful for the friends made, immigrant stories told, and relationships built in 2024. Thank you to all the guests on the show, to our listeners, to everyone who attended a Foreign Founders event, to all of our partners and supporters.
My goal is to continue highlighting more amazing immigrant and first-gen founders and investors.
I’ve reflected on what worked and what didn’t work over the holidays. Here’s what Foreign Founders will do in 2025:
Double down and focus on content → more interviews, more audio content, and a lot more videos
Fewer but more ambitious events → create events with partners, not solo. Create memorable events
Sharing some numbers below to keep myself accountable!

☕ January 14 - We’re hosting a coffee meetup with Nitin Pachisia from Unshackled VC on January 14th. Last year we had a great turnout and we had the chance to meet the team at Unshackled VC. If you’re an early-stage founder or soon-to-be founder, you won’t want to miss this→ RSVP here
💻 January 30 - Foreign Founders is hosting our first Immigration Hackathon! We’re co-hosting a hackathon with General Assembly to build solutions for immigrants. You won’t want to miss a fun and inspiring week of hacks. And you don’t have to be technical to join, I’ve been building a lot of prototype with AI and no code tools over the holiday! In 2024, Foreign Founders released 31 audio and 28 videos content, and hosted 14 events
On all podcast players we had a 64% increase YoY in listeners
On Spotify, we had 198% increase YoY in listeners, 141% increase in streams, 229% increase in followers
The podcast was streamed in over 30 countries (!)
On Youtube, we had 41% more views YoY, 20% more watch time YoY, and 82% more subscribers YoY
Our events hosted over 1,000 attendees, and we had everything from coffee chats, dinners, panel discussions, workshops, BBQs, and a series of wellness events
